Intimate Spring Wedding at Soho South Cafe

I did Rubria and Ryan’s winter engagement session, and we had so much fun taking pictures in Piedmont Park. So, I was so excited to come back and shoot their wedding! They planned a Spring wedding at Soho South Cafe, and it came out beautiful.

I want to highlight Rubria and Ryan’s stationary first because wedding paper is one of my favorite things to shoot! It’s so much fun to see all the different designs and colors that couples choose. There are so many options for stationary, and this couple’s wedding invitations were especially unique!

Rubria and Ryan had classic black and white invites, and Rubia even drew a map of Savannah and their venue, Soho South. I normally create a flatlay of the invitation suite using a few extra flowers from the florist and my own ribbon and boxes anyway. But I was especially excited to capture these invitations.

Spring Wedding at Soho South Cafe

Soho South Cafe is an amazing venue in Historic Savannah, and it’s a popular spot for weddings. Not only is the space gorgeous, but the food is so good. Soho South Cafe was originally an automotive service station from 1945, and the lighting, in particular, is so perfect. Swanson Signature Events took care of the planning, and they did a great job! They created a beautiful and romantic reception using blush and ivory flowers and tapered candles.

We took some portraits in Downtown Savannah too, but I particularly love the photos in Soho South. The shots of Rubria and Ryan’s first dance came out beautiful, and the backdrops at the Cafe were wonderful. Rubia’s look was stunning too, and I absolutely loved it. It was my first time working with Beauty by Kateryna, and her hair and makeup were perfection.
