Marianne and Michael are one of my sweetest clients! I first met them when I shot their engagement session in Savannah, and just loved both of them! They met in dental school, and have the most incredible personalities. The couple both are from New Jersey and chose Savannah for their destination wedding after taking their first road trip down to visit. They instantly fell in love with Savannah’s romance and charm! Their wedding at Old Fort Jackson is still one of my all time favorites. I still use their wedding as one of my albums samples! My couples always swoon over their wedding, and all of their amazing details, and incredible flowers.
These cuties returned to Savannah for their babymoon, and I was so lucky to get to do a maternity session for them! I love being able to capture so many life moments for my couples. From their engagement to their wedding, to their family. I am so lucky! Marianne is due in May, so we went out a few weeks ago while the azaleas were in bloom downtown. She wore the most gorgeous emerald green gown! Her red lip and beautiful makeup by Jo Nettles Artistry completed the look.
We explored Downtown Savannah together, stopping at some of my favorite spots to get pictures. The Armstrong House is a perfect spot, right across from Forsyth Park. Savannah also has so many great homes with regal steps, that make the perfect spot for portraits! And of course, we had to stop by some of the azaleas for some color! Savannah is such a special place to this couple, so it was the perfect choice for their maternity session.
I’m especially thinking of these two during this crazy pandemic, and during their last few weeks of pregnancy. Even in such an uncertain time, this couple shows how important love is!
