Forsyth Park Maternity Session

Hannah is my associate photographer, and after having the privilege of shooting both her engagement session and her Cancun wedding, I was so honored to be able to photograph her Forsyth Park maternity session. I absolutely love their story. Hannah and Jarrod are high school sweethearts who met when he was a football player, and she was a cheerleader. They survived and thrived during four years of long distance, and now they’ve had a baby boy together!

Forsyth Park Maternity Session

Forsyth Park is one of my all-time favorite places to shoot. I’ve shot so many elopements and engagement sessions there! It’s a beautiful park with thirty acres of gorgeous trees and fields. It’s also home to the city’s most famous fountain. For Hannah and Jarrod’s session, we started near the Fragrant Garden. I loved the beautiful white columns for their photos, and the trees at Forsyth Park are some of my best-loved backdrops.

After our time in the actual park, we moved to the surrounding streets and found some perfect spots in downtown Savannah. The iron gates and older elegant buildings made for some amazing photos. I loved how graceful Hannah looked while standing on that gorgeous staircase.

For their session, Hannah wore a lovely dark pink dress, and Jarrod wore a navy-blue shirt with tan slacks. They looked so good together. Hannah’s outfit was perfect for the session, and some of my favorite photos show off the movement of her dress.

I loved having another opportunity to photograph Hannah and Jarrod, and working with them on their Forsyth Park maternity session was such a joy. I’m so happy for them, and I’m so excited to be able to meet their new little one. Congratulations Hannah and Jarrod!
